Annalie’s paintings are as unique as the woman herself. One can never predict what abstract will emerge from the canvas -- each one taking on a life of it’s own. Energetic brush strokes colored from hundreds of acrylic paint jars combine to form bright, vibrant creations splashed across the canvas -- dazzling the eye and filling the heart with joy. Palette knives drag deep, rich earth tones across surfaces of varying sizes creating complex layers of texture and self-expression. Found in each piece, are impressions drawn from Annalie’s many travels throughout the Americas, Europe and Asia. The Artist’s work has been in various juried art shows, including The Manayunk Arts Festival and the most recent Artists Equity Show at Widener University. Other works currently hang in private homes and area corporations. Annalie’s latest work can be viewed First Fridays when the Upstairs Studio Artists’ studios are open to the public.
