Everything you see on a Bella Bella piece is paper, painstakingly hand-cut, nothing is painted. We start with a wood base, layer each element of pattern by hand, and seal it with a glossy resin for easy care and cleaning. I like the mysterious combination of texture and hue that results from applying layers and layers of sheer color. A Bella Bella table may look like stone, or velvet, or an Italian fresco, but it always feels sleek and glossy to touch.
